The Cottage Renewal

A considered renovation of an existing cottage, designed to retain its original charm while creating a more functional and refined home for modern family living.

The internal layout was completely reworked, with structural walls removed and relocated to improve flow, light, and connection through the home. The kitchen was extended to the rear, creating a brighter central living space supported by a new bathroom, ensuite, laundry, and reconfigured bedrooms.

Original hardwood floors were restored, new finishes were introduced, and the home was repainted inside and out.

The result is a character cottage that feels timeless from the street and calm, modern, and highly liveable within.
