I’m Dale — the builder behind Hughes Building.
I’ve worked in the building industry for over 20 years, majority of that across the Central Coast & Newcastle.
I started out in carpentry and spent most of my time on the tools, not behind a desk. That’s where you really learn how homes come together and where things can go wrong.
Over time, I saw the same issues on job after job. Poor planning. Weak communication. Decisions left too late. That’s when costs blow out and timelines start slipping. After seeing this happen too often, I started Hughes Building in 2020 to do things differently.
I’m a registered Master Builder and I focus on custom homes and renovations where I stay hands-on and involved from start to finish. You’re not passed around or left guessing. You know what’s happening, what it’s going to cost, and where your project is heading.
I’ll always give you clear and honest guidance so you can make confident decisions and avoid problems later.
At the end of the day, you’re trusting someone with a major investment. I take that seriously. Every decision is made with care, clarity, and long-term quality in mind.
When I’m not on site, I’m usually spending time with family or around the local area. I’ve lived and worked here a long time, so reputation matters.
